Ryan Schmidt, Pro Coach
About Me
Ryan Schmidt is from the Detroit Metro area. He played professionally for nine years and is a former CHL All-Star. He has been teaching power skating and hockey skills for over 30 years at all levels including amateur and professional hockey in North America and Europe. Many of Ryan’s students have went on to play at higher levels including the NHL. He is a development first coach and one of his greatest accomplishments is forming a youth hockey program in North Carolina called the Carolina Stars Hockey Club. Within two years, Ryan coached a 14U team to the state title and went on to compete at the USA Hockey National Tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ryan is a Certified Level 4 USA Hockey Coach and a Professional Skills Development Coach
Professional Coaching
All players and goaltenders who want to learn the skills and training needed to take their game to a higher level should attend Ryan Schmidt’s Professional Hockey Schools. The overall objective of this program is to provide the opportunity for players to receive recognition for their unique hockey talent, skills and accomplishments and to further enhance development. With our professional on-ice coaching, Professional Hockey Schools Program is the best place to advance your hockey skills.
